Jiri Hudler

Jiri Hudler slowly worked his way onto the roster of the Detroit Red Wings and he would become a solid contributor on their 2008 Stanley Cup win.  Hudler would have a pair of 50 Point seasons with the Red Wings but he had more individual success when he joined the Calgary Flames where he would have a career high 31 Goals and 76 Points in the 2014/15 season and would win the Lady Byng Trophy.

Dennis Wideman

Drafted in the eighth round by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2002 Draft, Dennis Wideman would never play for the professional hockey team based in Western New York.  Wideman would later sign with the St. Louis Blues but it was later in Boston where he would have his first 50 Point Season in the 2008-09 Season where he finished 11th in Norris Trophy voting, a career high.  After stints with Florida and Washington (he would go to his only All Star Game in 2012 as a Capital) Wideman would finish his career in Calgary for five years where he would have a career high of 56 Points in the 2014/15 season.

The First Nations star from Manitoba played for the California Golden Seals for a few seasons before he arrived in Philadelphia but arguably nobody foresaw what he would accomplish in the City of Brotherly Love.

14. Tim Kerr

Tim Kerr went undrafted yet his tenacious play and the way he overcame injury after injury would earn him a permanent spot in the Philadelphia Flyers lineup.  Maybe spot isn’t the right word as slot might be more accurate as that is where he would find himself in front of the opponents’ net.
