They are vastly overrated, just a couple of hit wonders, not talented as musicians, they're just famous because they were one of the first all girl bands. But then again the hall of fame has rap and r&b artists in it, so it's not about talent or rock, it's all just a joke.

The Go-Go's of course sgould be in the Rock hall of fame.The people who commented on their songs being lightweight never really listened to the lyrics. They are the true spirit of Rock and Roll!! They taught themselves how to play, write, and perform. Def Leppard never wrote any songs with 'deep' meaning, but they are in!

I think the R&R HOF is a joke to some extent (no Moody Blues for example), but the GoGo's? I agree with the other guy about their music--light , catchy, fluffy, but they were hardly great musicians or anything else, except all girl. Who cares. A 1980s Dixie Cups.
