Underrated is the Word for PROPP, he is known 4 what he didn't Win then what he did accomplish, He Led 3 Different Teams & faced 3 Dynasties (Islanders, Oilers, Penguins) in 5 Cup Finals, Was 1 of the best 2 way players, #4 ALL TIME in PLUS MINUS (+310) for "Left Wingers" but here is the Biggie, The PLAYOFFS is the HIGHEST Level of Skill Propp is #1 ALL TIME Leading SCORER in PLAYOFF History among Left Wingers. He Scored 1000+ Points in 1000 Games, Won Championship "Gold" with Team Canada 1987, 5 time ALL STAR, Holds 8 Team Records, Is in the Saskatchewan and Philadelphia HALL OF FAMES and was Voted to the ALL TIME Canadian Junior Team Starting Lineup along with BOBBY ORR, Denis Potvin, Bernie Parent, Guy Lafleur, Mario Lemieux. Is in the TOP 30 All Time in Goals - Assists - Points in NHL Playoff History and #1 for Left Wingers. 1 of the TOP 5 Most Underrated players NOT in the HOF, It's a JOKE he is not in.

I know he didn't win a Stanley cup, but if the hall of fame recognizes singular talent, there is no doubt that the teams he was on possibly would not have even made it as far as the finals without his play, and to be on 5 teams that just came up short,,, truthfully hockey was about dynastys for a very long time, and really the Detroit Red Wings and New Jersey Devils had the closest things to a dynasty since the 80's and earlier. In every era there are many legendary teams that are not fortunate enough to win a cup, often times throughout history thanks to the Montreal Canadiens, or in Propp's days, the Isles and Edmonton. So having the career numbers he had and the efficiency of his game, the impact of teams that went consistently far, he should be a guy that someday gets in.
