I met Dan McCafferty (and the rest of the Nazareth band) back around 1992 when my brother's band opened for them while on a tour in Eugene Oregon. I ALWAYS loved Nazareth and to actualy finaly meet the man behind the vocals (that I have always thought were amazing, btw) was a time I will never forget. We were backstage getting a drink, and Dan made himself a HUGE Whiskey drink to take onto the stage with him. We started laughing and talking like we always knew each other. Super down to earth guy...This band should be in the R&R Hall of Fame 100% for sure...!!!!

They influenced many bands that are in the hof. There probably would not be an appetite for destruction without Nazareth. That band was as whole as it gets on bass, drums, guitar and vocals. Them not being in already is ludicrous.
