Born in Los Angeles, Duke Keomuka was one of many American born wrestlers of Asian descent who played an evil Japanese foreigner.
Keomuka wrestled in the “traditional” Japanese style of kicks and thrusts but did so in such a convincing way that he was one of the top heels in Texas for years. Keomuka, the father of later WWF wrestler, Pat Tanaka, would later ply his trade in Florida in a successful tag team with Hiro Matsuda.
