Somehow in the history of professional wrestling the history of Pak Song has been forgotten. Maybe it is because we still don’t know that much about him.
Suffering from a form of acromealgy (the same disease that befell Andre the Giant), Pak Song cast an imposing figure. Known for his claw hold and karate chops, Song was almost always paired with a mouthpiece and would often be positioned as the top heel. It was actually Song who was in the ring when Dusty Rhodes became a face and vaulted into stardom. This shouldn’t be forgotten.
