We still wonder if this was a lost opportunity.  Hot off of the heels of his Oscar winning performance as Randy “The Ram” Robinson in “The Wrestler”, Mickey Rourke appeared at Wrestlemania 25 where he was interjected into the Chris Jericho VS the legends (Jimmy Snuka, Roddy Piper and Ricky Steamboat) match.  It was post match “punch” to Jericho, but couldn’t it have more?

Appearing at two Wrestlemanias  (17 & 19), Fred Durst and his love them or hate them band, Limp Bizkit also performed one of the theme songs for The Undertaker.  Musiciains have generally not been sought out for the WWE Celebrity Wing, but few have appeared at multiple big shows.  It is worth noting that prior to their first Wrestlemania, the band worked with ECW when Steve Corino confronted them on stage at a concert.

Revamping the ZZ Top classic “Legs” for former WWE Diva (and former girlfriend of George Clooney) Stacy Keibler, Kid Rock performed a set at Wrestlemania 25 prior to the entrance of the Diva’s Battle Royal.  To date, it is the longest musical performance at a Wrestlemania, though we aren’t sure exactly what that is worth, though his appearance at Tribute to the Troops appearance doesn’t hurt.

There is a lot you can say about the ex-husband of Britney Spears, but Kevin Federline performed his role as associates of WWE Diva Melina and John Morrison and actually has a winning record over John Cena.  Wait, is that good?  Wait (again), don’t you also need to be a celebrity to get into this wing?  He doesn’t really fit that category anymore.
