Ray Wietecha played his entire 10-year NFL career with the New York Giants, where he was the literal centerpiece (he played Center) of a robust Offensive Line. Helping the G-Men to an NFL Championship in 1956, Wietecha would have better individual seasons after going to four Pro Bowls and earning a First Team All-Pro nod. In his last season (1962), he was named a Second Team All-Pro and arguably could have continued his playing career, but he elected to become a coach instead.

Steve Tasker may have been listed as a Wide Receiver but with only 51 career receptions it is hard to think of him as a successful wide out. Tasker did however make the Prow Bowl but it was not because of his offensive capabilities but from his prowess on the Special Teams.

People may remember when John Elway refused to report the Baltimore Colts when he was selected first overall in 1983. Baltimore traded him to Denver, but it wasn’t all bad for the Colts as they received a future seven time Pro Bowler in return.
