In retrospect, this was supposed to be the big jump for Liv Tyler into a starring role, and while maybe that didn't quite happen you can't say that Steven Tyler's daughter (or is it Todd Rundgren’s daughter?) didn’t have a bad career by any stretch and if you were to look at the movie poster, it sure looks like she is the star of Empire Records with that short skirt and exposed midriff. In the film, she is presented as super studious (why?) super sweet and enamored with Rex Manning.

Chances are, you only remember the poster.
