From the CW show, “All-American” we have an all too familiar trope of the urban black kid crashing the rich white neighbourhood. In this case it is the brash and ultra-talented Wide Receiver, Spencer James is recruited to star for Beverly Hills High after tearing up the gridiron at Crenshaw. While it does tackle issues we have seen before, it isn’t a bad show and Ezra is very believable in this role.
