Chris Thorburn played 801 NHL Games, 709 of which with Atlanta/Winnipeg (2007-17).

Mark Schiefele was taken with the Seventh Overall Pick in 2011, and the native of Kitchener, Ontario cracked the Jets roster for seven Games that year.  After making it for four Games in the next year, Schiefle was primed to breakout as a bona fide NHL player.

Statistically, Dany Heatley should merit a higher ranking, but in 2003 he crashed his car, which killed his friend and teammate, Dan Snyder, causing him to miss nearly a full season.  Heatley would request a trade from Atlanta to put the past behind him, thus alienating the fan base that stood by him who supported him through the tragedy.  

Marian Hossa was an All-Star twice in his two and three-quarter seasons with the Atlanta Thrashers.  While his stint in the Peach State was brief, the Slovakian forward made the most of it with a 1.12 Points per Game Average, which would be the highest mark of his career.  Hossa would finish 10th in Hart Trophy balloting in the 2006-07 season and narrowly missed out on a Second Team All-Star nod.  He would later win three Stanley Cups with the Chicago Blackhawks.

A nine-year NHL veteran, Czech Defenseman, Frantisek Kaberle played five of them with the Atlanta Thrashers.

While Andy Sutton was always known for his defensive skills (he was a Defenceman after all), it was in Atlanta where he put his best numbers offensively with three straight seasons with 20 Points, while even exceeding his defensive metrics.  He scored 87 Points as a Thrasher.

A member of the Toronto Maple Leafs for most of his career, Nik Antropov spent his last four NHL seasons with the Thrashers/Jets.

The third overall draft pick from 2008, Zack Bogosian would suit up for the Thrashers on opening night shortly after his 18th birthday.  The American Defenseman has been regarded for his physical style of play who was usually amongst the leaders in hits for his team.

Vyacheslav Kozlov played the first half of his career with the Detroit Red Wings where he was part of the diverse team that won the 1997 and 1998 Stanley Cup.  After a year in Buffalo, he was traded to Atlanta where he played the last seven of his NHL seasons.

Marc Savard was with the Atlanta Thrashers for the middle part of his career where he enjoyed some of his greatest individual success.

A former fourth overall draft pick, Evander Kane scored 222 Points over his Thrashers/Jets career though it did have a bit of controversy off of the ice, which bled into issues with his teammates.  Still, Kane’s offensive output does denote a high place on this list.

Traded after he won a Stanley Cup for the Chicago Blackhawks (he also won one with the Carolina Hurricanes), Andrew Ladd would become one of the major offensive weapons for the Thrashers/Jets and was quickly named the team Captain.  Ladd would score 20 Goals four times and would probably have had a fifth had he not been traded back to Chicago during the 2015/16 season.

The Atlanta Thrashers traded for Blake Wheeler in 2011 and the gifted playmaker has been rewarding the franchise with that decision ever since.

Czech Goaltender, Ondrej Pavelec played all but his last NHL season with the Atlanta Thrashers/Winnipeg Jets.

Bryan Little has carved out a nice career in the National Hockey League since he debuted in 2007-08 after being taken in the First Round by the Atlanta Thrashers in the prior year.

From Sweden, Tobias "Toby" Enstrom was a late-round pick in 2003, but stayed in Sweden until 2007.  Enstrom made the team immediately and exceeded expectations as an All-Rookie with a sixth-place finish for the Calder.

Already a Stanley Cup Champion (with Chicago) when Dustin Byfuglien was traded to the Thrashers in what would be their last year in Atlanta, he was moved back to his natural blueline position and essentially became a more valuable hockey player.

Ilya Kovalchuk plied his trade with the Atlanta Thrashers for seven and a half years and while the Russian forward played for a team that wasn’t exactly exceptional, he was a star for the franchise.  

One of the better offensive defenseman of the 1980’s, Randy Carlyle saw his career take off when he got traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Carlyle won the coveted Norris Trophy in 1981 and was consistently among the top points performers amongst defensemen in the 80’s. Carlyle’s career pinnacle may have been as a head coach when he led the Anaheim Ducks to their first Stanley Cup in 2007. It is possible that should they combine his efforts on both sides of the bench, Carlyle could receive a solid look from the Hall.

While Nikolai Khabibulin actually has a losing won/loss record in the NHL, nobody can say that he did not have a very good career in the National Hockey League.  The “Bulin Wall” may never have been considered the top goaltender in the league (or maybe even in the top three), but he was always better than most of his peers and did backstop the Lightning to a Stanley Cup, becoming the first Russian to do so. Throw in the fact that he also had an excellent performance leading the Russians to the Olympic Gold Medal; you have the makings of a fringe candidate for the Hall of Fame.
