He may have been dubbed as the “Quiet Beatle” but it was George Harrison who first broke out as a solo star and left behind a legacy of hits and brilliant music. Though Harrison may not have been the “favorite” Beatle when he was with the Fab Four, he may have become that of many after the success of his individual efforts.
We are guessing that the Songwriters Hall of Fame is looking to jump the gun a bit as their scheduled announcement of their finalists coincides with tomorrow’s impending announcement (though it was announced after their press release that the Rock Hall would do their announcement Thursday) from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as to who they intend to name as their finalists.
No matter, as we here at Notinhalloffame.com are ready and able to take a look at the finalists for next year’s Songwriter’s Hall of Fame Class.
