Blondie

Though some of labeled Blondie nothing more than a Disco and/or New Wave band, they were incredibly versatile and they had an incredible range.  The technically proficient band was propelled by the looks of their lead singing siren, Debbie Harry and though she got them attention, their skills kept them in the spotlight.

The Grammy Hall of Fame has announced their new class, which inducts what they feel are iconic albums and songs that helped shape the musical world.

While Notinhalloffame.com is not exactly enamored with the Grammys, we do recognize that for many this is quite the honor and we would like to congratulate those involved with these albums and singles for obtaining this accolade.

We are guessing that the Songwriters Hall of Fame is looking to jump the gun a bit as their scheduled announcement of their finalists coincides with tomorrow’s impending announcement (though it was announced after their press release that the Rock Hall would do their announcement Thursday) from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as to who they intend to name as their finalists.
