Several inducted in the R&R HOF are there because of Warren Zevon. He isn't there because the HOF system is bogus. Votes are influenced by $ and power. Until the voters are influenced he will not get in. It stinks, but each time I see a musician he influenced in the HOF I know that he had something to do with that person's success.

Warren Zevon's music was very different than your mainstream rock music. His music was hard edged with a message. His voice fit his style of music. He was a true artist and rates with the best individual rockers. His untimely death left us all wanting. Zevon deserves to be in the Hall of Fame without a doubt. Of course we know what the problem is. The Hall does not really put in some of the best. If they can induct the highly overrated KISS then you know they probably will not induct Warren.
