Just for agreement sake, Pat Verbeek did have a much higher ppg and gpg before his late career injuries, and towards the end he was more adding just games than many points. He actually was on the Red Wings the year they ended up winning it with all of those great hall of famers, 2002. But he had to retire. If he was healthy enough to be on that team, 2 Stanley cups and retiring as a champion could have been enough to get him in someday. Its pretty unlikely though.
