THIS MOST KIND GENEROUS MAN HAS DEVOTED HIS WHOLE LIKE TO THE WORLD. HE IS ALWAYS HELPING OTHER ARTISTS TO PRODUCE QUALITY MUSIC. THIS IS A BIG OVERSIGHT HE DID SELL MORE ON HIS ALBUM THAN ANYONE.

Frampton is and was a pioneer in many ways. Not only one of the greatest guitarists of all time but one of the greatest song writers of all time. NWA and the like belong on Rap or R&B Hall of Fame, not the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. When you fill spots with the like of NWA you take away the true essence of what the Fame is supposed to be about. As a music store owner of 4 years, to skip out Frampton is to skip out on putting the pieces that fully comprise what it will take to complete the Hall of Fame. They totally missed it. Its equal to Pete Rose and Baseball

You're saying that Frampton Comes Alive will have to reach legendary status for Peter Frampton to reach the Hall? You're joking, right? It's the most popular live rock album of all time. That this record has already reached legendary status is indisputable . Frampton is a no-brainer for the Hall. Frampton did not lose his core rock audience. That brief foray into teen idol-dom was as you say not really his doing. Peter's rock 'cred is secure, not only from his days as lead guitarist for Humble Pie, but for his work with David Bowie, Pearl Jam and many more. He was the biggest rock star in the world in the mid-late 1970s. Frampton is the essence of rock and roll. He's a populist, he always give back to his fans, he is one of the world's best rock guitarists, he is a hugely underrated singer and songwriter. One of the last of the true old-school rock stars in the Zeppelin/Aer osmith vein, Peter qualifies for the rock Hall on every level.
