2022 feels a lot like 2021. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Ronnie Spector died today from cancer at the age of 78. There were a lot of girl groups in the 60s, but none of them exuded the sexiness of Spector, the leader of the Ronettes.  Under the guidance of her eventual husband, Phil Spector, the Ronettes had a three-year run of hits, most notably with the 1963 smash, “Be My Baby”.  Ronnie married Phil in 1968, but the relationship became abusive, so much so, that Phil kept his wife as a virtual prisoner in their home.  They would divorce in…

As we await tonight’s National Championship Game between Alabama and Georgia, the College Football Hall of Fame announced the 21-man Class of 2022.  This year, 18 players and three Coaches were chosen. Players: LaVar Arrington.  Linebacker, Penn State, 1997-99.  Arrington was a product of “Linebacker U” under Joe Paterno, and in 1999 he was so dominant that he was ninth in Heisman voting, and won the Chuck Bednarik Award and Dick Butkus Award.  He also was named the Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Year.  The two-time All-American went on to play in the NFL for the Washington Redskins, earning three Pro Bowls. Yes, we know that this is taking a while! As many of you know, we here at Notinhalloffame.com are slowly generating the 50 of each major North American sports team.  That being said, we have existing Top 50 lists out and we always consistently look to update them when we can and based on necessity.  As such, we are very happy to present our pre-2022 revision of our top 50 Minnesota Twins. The Basketball world lost a legend as Hall of Fame inductee, Sam Jones, passed away today at the age of 88. Playing at North Carolina Central, Jones was not highly recruited on the NBA level, but Red Auerbach took a chance on him after being told by his scouts that this was, in fact, the best player in the state.  The gamble proved fruitful as the versatile Jones would prove to be one of the best clutch shooters of his era, so much so, that he was nicknamed "Mr. Clutch."
