During this crazy time of NBA free agency, we have a basketball related announcement ourselves: Our Notinhalloffame Basketball List has been revised to reflect the recent inductees and those now eligible. What exactly did we do? First, we took off those who were chosen for the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame as part of the 2022 Class. Second, we add those who are now eligible for the 2023 Class. Pro Football lost a legend today. Former San Francisco 49ers Halfback, Hugh McElhenny, passed away today at the age of 93 from natural causes. A First Round Pick from Washington, McElhenny and he was the starting Right Halfback as a rookie.  That season, and the one after, were First Team All-Pro and Pro Bowl worthy, and as he was also used as a returner, he led the NFL in All-Purpose Yards (1,731).  While McElhenny's rookie season was not duplicated, he had two other 1,400 APY years with San Francisco, and was a Pro Bowler on three different occasions, giving him five in…

Endorsements mean a lot, especially when it comes from a Hall of Famer. Brian Urlacher, who played his entire NFL career with the Chicago Bears and entered the Pro Football Hall of Fame on his first try in 2018, believes that he should be joined by another Linebacker, Zach Thomas.
