Al snow was dazzling independent fans for years, but when he finally made his way to the WWF in 1995 he was besieged by a series of goofy gimmicks that ranged from a Japanese ninja, a masked whatever and a dorky 70’s Rocker. Like so many before and after him, his career was given new life by Paul Heyman in ECW which finally gave him the stage he needed to show fans what he could do. Returning to the WWF as Al Snow, he carried a mannequin head to the ring (with whom he had multiple conversations with) and his new odd ball persona was paired with attention to his wrestling ability (which was very good). His run in the big time happened five years later then it should have, but he still remains one of the more compelling stars of the Attitude era. As a trainer, he is now giving back to a new generation of wrestlers who could only hope to be half as gifted in the ring.
