Rolfe debuted for one game in 1931, but would become a regular fixture in 1934. A sound defensive player, Rolfe led the American League in Triples in 1936 (15), and then went to four consecutive All-Star Games (1937-40), where he peaked in 1939, leading the AL in Runs (139), Hits (213) and Doubles (46), with a career-high Batting Average of .329.
Helping the Yankees win five World Series rings, Rolfe accumulated 1,394 Hits.
