Sure there have been former New Japan stars in the last twenty years that worked for the WWE but never before had someone of the level of Nakamura signed exclusively to compete for the WWE. Like many of you I was excited and was even more so when Shinsuke tweeted that he had the perfect theme song before he debuted.
He certainly did.
With a deep base intro leading to a powerful violin sonata, Nakamura had a theme that felt even more perfect than anything he ever walked to a ring to in Japan. It is classical and rocking at the same time and feels like a New Japan theme song, which we mean as a compliment. This gem by CFO$ shattered every mold of what to expect when it comes to a wrestling theme song and there are many online who feels that Nakamura makes this theme the best entrance in the current WWE.
Clearly, I am among them.
It should be noted that following his heel turn, the deep bass intro was scrapped, and the instrumental now had Japanese lyrics over top of it. It is still awesome!
