The WWE Hall of Fame indicted Mil Mascaras, who is a certifiable Mexican legend and had numerous matches under a WWE banner. Mascaras is a worthy inductee, but is it possible that they should look into the past of Mexican wrestling, even if it does predate its beginning? Perhaps, they should, and if so, El Santo would be a perfect candidate for the WWE Hall of Fame.
El Santo (The Saint) was not just a major figure in the history of Luchadores, he was a transcendent figure who starred in movies, sold out arenas and had millions of children wear silver masks. Should the WWE Hall of Fame ever ask itself if it should induct someone who represents the first wave of Lucha Libre, then they will select him. The real question is whether they will ever ask this in the first place.
Should El Santo be in the Hall of Fame?
Definitely put him in! - 91.7%
Maybe, but others deserve it first. - 4.2%
Probably not, but it wouldn't be the end of the world. - 2.1%
