When Ray Traylor first emerged on the national scene it was a large suit clad bodyguard, Big Bubba Rogers. When he arrived to the WWF, he donned the gimmick of a sadistic prison guard (a job he actually had) and achieved his best success.
After his initial run against Hulk Hogan, Traylor dropped some significant weight and proved to be a really good worker with impressive agility considering the size he still was. During his peak period he was very much over and one of the WWE’s more popular attractions. Although he had a decent run in WCW, especially with a series of matches against Vader he never did reach the same level of success again. Still, any wrestler with solid skills and over ten years in major promotions has to be a serious contender for induction.
