Marc Savard was with the Atlanta Thrashers for the middle part of his career where he enjoyed some of his greatest individual success.
Savard was traded from Calgary early in the 2002-03 and he continued to be a productive NHL forward. Usually on a line with Ilya Kovalchuk and Dany Heatly, Savard exploded with a career-high 97 Points, where he was sixth in that stat and third in Assists (69). This was Savard's last season in Atlanta, as he signed with the Boston Bruins as a Free Agent. Savard averaged 1.07 Points per Game as a Thrasher.
