Towson did not produce many Pro Football stars, but Jermon Bushrod was one of the exceptions to that rule.

A Fourth Round Pick in 2007, Towson was taken by the New Orleans Saints, where he would eventually become their starting Left Tackle in 2009. That was the year of which the Saints won their first Super Bowl, and he would later earn Pro Bowl honors in 2011 and 2012.  Bushrod would later play for Chicago, and then Miami as their starting Right Guard, before having a final year in New Orleans in 2018.
