109. The Mongolian Stomper, Archie Gouldie
When Bret Hart mentioned on a recent Legends of Wrestling Roundtable that the best wrestler to come out of Canada was the Stomper, Archie Gouldie, the rest of the panel thought it was a real stretch.  It may still be, but the more you think about it the accomplishments of Gouldie, it isn’t as far out of leftfield as originally thought.

A former Canadian Football Player, Archie Gouldie was a legitimate tough guy who despite primarily wrestling as a heel was a very decent all around wrestler whose style surprisingly meshed with anyone.  He was just the Stomper is Canada, but in the States he was the Mongolian Stomper whose impressive physique and viciousness made him a draw there.  If the WWE Hall of Fame was based in Calgary (and yes we know it isn’t really based anywhere), Archie Gouldie would be in.
