The world of hockey lost one of the great ones, as Hall of Fame Defenseman, Leo Boivin, passed away at age 90. Boivin debuted in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs for two Games in the 1951/52 Season, and would finish third in Calder voting the following year. The Leafs traded him to Boston early in the 1954/55 Season, and it was with the Bruins where he would achieve his greatest success. This was sudden. David Baker has just announced his immediate resignation as the President of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, citing that it was time to return home, and retire.
