Joan Osbourne

Best known for the surprise hit, One of Us, Joan Osbourne became trapped in a song that really didn’t define her abilities. That song was poppish by her definition and the reality was that her roots were more steeped in Country, Folk and Traditional Blues; which was evident by a listen of the rest of her music. Sadly for Osbourne, she is known primarily (and secondary) for that song and she will be forever be shackled to it.
